So, after more experimenting, here is what I have ended up with. unless I look at it to see what is going on today, it is of no value. In fact, it is now trash totally because the removed all of the filters, all of the SMS alerts, all filters period. I am now through with Yahoo calendar, it is trash as far as sync to anything else period. Took me a long time to keep two windows open and move week by week for the next two years until I have it all done. I finally, after using Yahoo as my primary calendar via the web for over 20 years, just quit that calendar "Cold Turkey" and moved all of my alarms, etc. It has something to do with Yahoo is always reformatting the way their site looks/works/interfaces, and that just absolutely ruins the sync process for apps. Jorte claims that they can sync with yahoo, and to give credit where it is due, the developer emailed back/forth with me about 3 times, and then he just "gave up" with a shrug. I've been trying to solve this problem for a very long time now and I cannot land on an explanation. Thing is on her Zimbra email client we have full access to those calendars. Trying to change the calendars properties or anything like that states there is a permission issue. Problem is this particular user can sync a calendars dates but over every date it just states "busy" and there is no detail to the date. to sync up users settings/ect for Outlook.
We use Zimbra alongside Office 2016 and Zimbra connector 8. I have a user that is very adamant I get her calendar synchronization working with Zimbra.
